Biography - Founder Mitch Lavin
I have been playing guitar and bass for over 20 years. Over those years, I have performed with numerous bands and played in some of Chicago's most reputable local venues including: The Cubby Bear, Elbow Room, Durty Nellies (Palatine), Hog Head McDunnas, and the Double Door. I have been teaching guitar professionally since 1999 and have a current client base of over 50 full and part-time students.
My Gear
My guitar collection includes: Paul Reed Smith Hollowbody II, Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, Gibson Les Paul Classic, USACG Stratocaster, Ovation Elite Standard and a Musicman Sterling bass. I use a Bogner Shiva and a Line 6 Pod XT for gigging and session work.
